MCTs, the primary type of fat found within coconut oil, have been found to boost cognitive performance in older adults suffering from memory disorders as serious as Alzheimer's -- and not after months or even days of treatment, but after a single 40 ml dose!

Recent anecdotal reports claim coconut oil produces remarkable recoveries from Alzheimer's disease, but is there research to support this? Now, a new study published in the Journal of Alzheiner's Disease shows that a mechanism for coconut oil's brain rescuing properties does in fact exist.

The Alzheimer's brain can't handle glucose effectively, which is why this unique saturated fat may hold the key to improving and even reversing the condition in some patients.
Our scientific dogma says that the latest research is the closest to the truth; yet as soon as new research comes out, it will be obsolete. This paradigm always ignores context. For example, for the past 15 years it has become assumed truth that a low fat diet is a healthy diet. The same people who thirty years ago used to urge us to eat plenty of meat and cheese, shifted to encourage us towards vegetables and low fat salad dressings.
