Every moment your body is undergoing an active process of regeneration, based as it is on the ceaseless flux of cell life and death -- not unlike the dissipative structure of a flame. Underscoring this amazing interplay of being and non-being without which life would not be possible, cancer cells are only deadly because they are no longer capable of dying in a well-timed and orderly fashion -- a process of programmed cell death known as apoptosis.

So, you are looking to lose a few pounds, or keep them off. What better way to accomplish this feat than to eliminate both empty sugar calories and synthetic sweeteners, which studies show can generate excessive cravings for sweets and actually increase weight gain.

Beta-Cell Regeneration – Unfortunately, the medical community has yet to harness the diabetes-reversing potential of natural compounds. Whereas expensive stem cell therapies, islet cell transplants, and an array of synthetic drugs in the developmental pipeline are the focus of billions of dollars of research, annually, our kitchen cupboards and backyards may already contain the long sought-after cure for type 1 diabetes. The compounds below have been demonstrated experimentally to regenerate the insulin-producing beta cells, which are destroyed in insulin dependent diabetes, and which once restored, may (at least in theory) restore the health of the patient to the point where they no longer require insulin replacement.
