At present, one in ten Americans takes antidepressant medication and many of these individuals are taking multiple pills to treat more than one psychiatric illness. Few people will even raise an eyebrow anymore upon hearing about a friend or family member being diagnosed with depression.

https://greenmedinfo.com/blog/natural-approach-overcoming-depression#comments 5-HTP (5-Hydroxytryptophan) Alcohol Bipolar Disorder Brown Rice Dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) Depression Depression: Bipolar Depression: Postpartum EPA (Eicosapentaenoic Acid) Folic Acid Kiwifruit Magnesium Omega-3 Fatty Acids Potassium S-Adenosylmethionine (SAMe) Tryptophan Vitamin B12 Vitamin B6 Antidepressive Agents Artificial Sweeteners Caffeine Fluoxetine (trade name Prozac) Gluten Tai Chi 5-HTP Alcohol bipolar disorder brown rice caffeine Dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) Depression Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) folic acid Gluten Magnesium Nutrition omega-3 fatty acids potassium Prozac S-Adenosylmethionine (SAMe) Tai Chi Tryptophan Vitamin B12 Vitamin B6 Mon, 04 Aug 2014 18:08:39 +0000 garynullphd 114290 at https://greenmedinfo.com A review of cannabinoids in bipolar affective disorder. https://greenmedinfo.com/article/review-cannabinoids-bipolar-affective-disorder n/a PMID: J Psychopharmacol. 2005 May ;19(3):293-300. PMID: 15888515 Abstract Title: Cannabinoids in bipolar affective disorder: a review and discussion of their therapeutic potential. Abstract: Bipolar affective disorder is often poorly controlled by prescribed drugs. Cannabis use is common in patients with this disorder and anecdotal reports suggest that some patients take it to alleviate symptoms of both mania and depression. We undertook a literature review of cannabis use by patients with bipolar disorder and of the neuropharmacological properties of cannabinoids suggesting possible therapeutic effects in this condition. No systematic studies of cannabinoids in bipolar disorder were found to exist, although some patients claim that cannabis relieves symptoms of mania and/or depression. The cannabinoids Delta(9)-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabidiol (CBD) may exert sedative, hypnotic, anxiolytic, antidepressant, antipsychotic and anticonvulsant effects. Pure synthetic cannabinoids, such as dronabinol and nabilone and specific plant extracts containing THC, CBD, or a mixture of the two in known concentrations, are available and can be delivered sublingually. Controlled trials of these cannabinoids as adjunctive medication in bipolar disorder are now indicated. https://greenmedinfo.com/article/review-cannabinoids-bipolar-affective-disorder#comments Bipolar Disorder Cannabidiol Cannabinoids Delta-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) Anti-Anxiety Agents Antidepressive Agents Sedative effects Anti-Anxiety Agents Antidepressive Agents bipolar disorder Cannabidiol Cannabinoids Delta-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) Sedative effects Review Fri, 09 Jun 2017 22:58:59 +0000 greenmedinfo 148977 at https://greenmedinfo.com Are You Ready for Digital Pills? https://greenmedinfo.com/blog/are-you-ready-digital-pills
This article is copyrighted by GreenMedInfo LLC, 2019
Visit our Re-post guidelines

What could possibly go wrong with swallowing tracking microchips with already highly toxic pharmaceuticals?

https://greenmedinfo.com/blog/are-you-ready-digital-pills#comments Bipolar Disorder Depression Psychiatric Disorders Schizophrenia Antidepressants Antipsychotic Drugs Chemical and Drug Toxicity Health Guide: Mental Health Are Psychiatric Drugs safe? big pharma bipolar disorder corruption in science Depression Digital Pills mental health psychiatric disorders Schizophrenia Tue, 27 Mar 2018 16:56:26 +0000 GMI Research Group 161718 at https://greenmedinfo.com Curcumin is a promising agent for neuropsychiatric disorders. https://greenmedinfo.com/article/curcumin-promising-agent-neuropsychiatric-disorders n/a PMID: J Psychopharmacol. 2017 Mar ;31(3):287-302. Epub 2017 Jan 30. PMID: 28135888 Abstract Title: Curcumin for neuropsychiatric disorders: a review of in vitro, animal and human studies. Abstract: Turmeric has been used in traditional medicine for centuries to treat a range of ailments. Its primary active constituent curcumin, can influence an array of biological activities. Many of these, such as its anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, neuroprotective, and monoaminergic effects are dysregulated in several neuropsychiatric disorders. In this systematic review, in vitro, animal, and human studies investigating the potential of curcumin as a treatment for neuropsychiatric disorders such as major depressive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), bipolar disorder, psychotic disorders, and autism are reviewed, and directions for future research are proposed. It is concluded that curcumin is a promising, natural agent for many of these conditions, however, further research utilising robust, clinical designs are essential. The problem associated with the poor oral bioavailability of standard curcumin also requires consideration. Currently the greatest support for the efficacy of curcumin is for the treatment of major depressive disorder. https://greenmedinfo.com/article/curcumin-promising-agent-neuropsychiatric-disorders#comments Autism Bipolar Disorder Curcumin Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder Post-Traumatic Stress Disorders (PTSD) Anti-Inflammatory Agents Antioxidants Neuroprotective Agents Anti-Inflammatory Agents Antioxidants Autism bipolar disorder CURCUMIN Neuroprotective Agents Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder Post-Traumatic Stress Disorders (PTSD) Turmeric Review Fri, 07 Apr 2017 20:44:01 +0000 greenmedinfo 146053 at https://greenmedinfo.com Do 5 Million Americans Really Have Bipolar Disorder? https://greenmedinfo.com/blog/do-5-million-americans-really-have-bipolar-disorder-0
This article is copyrighted by GreenMedInfo LLC, 2016
Visit our Re-post guidelines

Bipolar Disorder is one of the biggest mental health concerns in the United States, but instead of addressing the true, spiritual nature of the disease, the normal course of treatment involves harmful pharmaceuticals.

This article was originally published on KellyBroganMD.com and republished with permission. KellyBroganMD.com

“I have Bipolar disorder”

https://greenmedinfo.com/blog/do-5-million-americans-really-have-bipolar-disorder-0#comments Bipolar Disorder Cannabis Depression Inflammation Antidepressants Health Guide: Mental Health Inflammatory bipolar disorder Depression mental disorders mind-body-spirit Spiritual Beliefs spirituality Thu, 09 Jun 2016 04:00:10 +0000 drbrogan 128465 at https://greenmedinfo.com How Stress, Magnesium and Disease Are Linked https://greenmedinfo.com/blog/how-stress-magnesium-and-disease-are-linked
This article is copyrighted by GreenMedInfo LLC, 2015
Visit our Re-post guidelines

In the Age of Toxicity one of the most common deficiencies and most life-threatening is magnesium.
